RV Pad Questions

How thick should an RV pad be?

RV pads should be 6 inches thick with rebar grid reinforcement. RVs and motorhomes can weigh 15,000-30,000+ lbs when loaded. The extra thickness and reinforcement prevents cracking under this heavy, concentrated load.

How much does a concrete RV pad cost?

RV pads typically cost $18-28 per square foot installed. A 12x40 pad (480 sq ft) typically costs $8,500-$13,500. Larger pads cost more. Price includes excavation, gravel base, rebar, and 6-inch concrete.

Can you add RV hookups to the pad?

We can coordinate with electricians to include conduit runs for 30/50 amp electrical, water supply lines, and sewer connections. Plan these before pouring. Let us know your requirements when requesting a quote.

Do I need a permit for an RV pad?

Requirements vary by municipality. Many areas don't require permits for RV pads, but some have zoning restrictions on RV parking. We recommend checking with your local building department before starting.
