Concrete Patio Installation in Mississauga

New patios, full replacements, and pool-deck pours across Mississauga. Stamped, exposed aggregate, broom-finish and smooth-trowel options, all built on a properly compacted base.

Why Mississauga projects need a tailored approach

Mississauga sits on Peel Plain clay over Halton Till on the north end, Iroquois beach sand south of Lakeshore Road, and the homes we work on are spread across neighbourhoods like Port Credit, Lorne Park, Clarkson, Erin Mills, Streetsville, Meadowvale, Mississauga Valleys, Cooksville and Mineola. South Mississauga lots near Port Credit and Lakeview have running sand at depth, while north Mississauga (Erin Mills, Streetsville, Meadowvale) sits on clay that holds water and heaves in winter. Combined with Lake Ontario shoreline moderation, fewer freeze-thaw cycles than inland, but high summer humidity, this changes how we design the slab and the base.

We pull permits where needed through City of Mississauga Building Division (300 City Centre Drive), so the work is documented and inspected, not buried under landscaping. Whether you are in postal code area L5A through L5W, we serve every Peel Region address with the same crew, the same supervisor, and the same written quote.

How a Mississauga concrete patio is built

Our patio installation process

  1. Step 1. Design consult. We measure, mark service locations, and discuss finish, colour and joint pattern. For stamped patios we bring sample boards.
  2. Step 2. Excavation and base. We strip topsoil, compact the sub-grade, and install Granular A in 100 mm lifts.
  3. Step 3. Forms and reinforcement. Side forms staked to grade, rebar grid chaired off the base, and any drain inlets or post sleeves preset.
  4. Step 4. Pour and finish. 32 MPa concrete placed, screeded, bull-floated, then finished to your selected texture (broom, exposed aggregate wash, or stamp impressions).
  5. Step 5. Saw-cuts and protection. Control joints cut within 12-24 hours, then the slab is covered or kept damp during cure.
  6. Step 6. Sealing and walkthrough. We return at 28 days for a high-solids penetrating or acrylic sealer and walk the patio with you.
